Section 5 - Financing Disclosure (Truth in Lending Act - TILA / Regulation Z)

Security Interest: The seller/lender retains a security interest in the vehicle described in Section 2 until all amounts are paid in full. The lien will be noted on the Wisconsin certificate of title.

Section 6 - Federal and Wisconsin Odometer Disclosure
> Federal Odometer Act (49 U.S.C. § 32705; 49 C.F.R. Part 580) and Wis. Stat. § 342.155: Federal and Wisconsin law require the seller to disclose the vehicle's mileage upon transfer of ownership. The odometer reading must be provided to the buyer before sale. Providing a false statement may result in civil penalties and criminal penalties including fines and imprisonment. Wisconsin dealers must allow prospective purchasers to inspect the prior owner's odometer disclosure statement (typically on the title or separate conforming statement) before the sale. Dealers must also provide the name and address of the most recent titled owner upon request per Wis. Stat. § 218.0146(2).

Section 7 - As-Is / Warranty Disclosure
The vehicle is sold:
- AS IS - NO WARRANTY (most common for used vehicles sold by dealers or private parties). Seller makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Buyer accepts the vehicle in its present condition after having had the opportunity to inspect it or have it inspected by a mechanic of Buyer's choice.

Section 8 - Title, Registration and Transfer Obligations
Seller shall deliver good and marketable title free of liens (except any lien disclosed and to be paid from proceeds) and execute all documents required by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and county for transfer of title and registration.
